I'm interested, will need to put together another mf set or just steal my barbs

so now that i have hit lvl 60 with my Wiz tonight its time to uprgade gears .. i got 4.5 mill .. waht stats apart from int should i look for?

depends on what sort of build you want to go for

glass cannon? tank? gold/gear farmer?

glass set and mf set

Correct me if I'm worng here but hasn't stacking MF been found to be BS? As in you don't get any better rolls just more magical items?

Doesnt get you more items, just gets you better quality items, ie more chance of a white being a blue, blue being yellow etc.

if you can increase for i63 item drops you will get.more rares then comparing low item drops. i did a quick run last night and had low mf gear and onpy got a stack of crap blue items. Any i61 item drop that is worth less then 1k (or whatever the rate or 1 essance is) ill salvage it and get gold from the ah.

It's not BS, it's just more redundant now than it was pre-1.0.3 due to 5NV stack champion packs dropping a guaranteed rare. Sold my MF set then and haven't considered building another one. If you can get MF on high level gear, fantastic (although the price will probably reflect that) - if not, I wouldn't be too worried. If you're running lower MF, it basically means your farming routes need to be longer to be effective.

Yeah , not hard to get a 5 stack and farm elites. :thumbup:

Makes my 15k look paltry lol.

My barb just died in act 3 on the way to azmodan to a disconnect. Nearly 300 hours played and he had like 60mil worth of gear on, I had every quest complete too... People complain about the disconnect deaths alot but it's actually the first time it's happened to me lol.

I'm assuming its hardcore right?

but mf gear's mad for farming, goblin runs since you get more rare drops, n better chance of getting 1400 dps bow with 90+% crit n a socket :)

anyway upgraded(actually downgraded) mf gear for goblin runs to 37k dps, 273% mf. got some cheap parts(didnt buy max mf amulet, ring, shoulders, etc) with high int since i'll probably only use em for goblin runs.
