omg, this is even more torturous than before, all downloaded and ready to go... buuut login server has been broken for the last 15 hrs, so no one can login, lol.

btw, please don't spam my pm's asking for who can have it next... I'll do a random draw or a game or something when I'm finished :)

wel server is backup and the sound issues seem to befixed.
i,m getting all the dialogue now.
plus some of the map have changed a little, there is one section where the bridge drops out on you and you have to go around which is cool.
the dialogue boxes opening are a bit of apain but the speech bubbles are cool :)

also game feels choppier than it did before so i,m guessing those speech bubbles are to blame.

anyway thats all the classes done might go back to wizzard and try again

Look at my name FFS of course I’m a diablo fan.

I've been waiting for this game for so long! I spend most of my teenage years doing Cow, Meph and Pindleskin runs.

Good I love whirlwind, I’m so they’ve kept it, but my lvl 99 barb always got owned in Chaos Sanctuary, because of god dam Iron Maiden.

I haven't played a single minute of WoW, purely out of loyalty to the Diablo franchise.

As soon as the beta was announced I changed my beta activity details, and I still I’m missed out on a beta key from Blizzard, fair enough.
Even tired the Facebook give away, pretending to be from Austria, but still no luck.

What do I have to do to be seen as deserving in Blizzard eyes?

I guess loyalty is not always rewarded… … …

If there’s anyone out there who’s played and now over the beta, help a nerd out!

loyalty is never rewarded. a lot of the people who got beta invites probably dont even play any more.

Girlfriend bought me this for xmas, it's actually pretty awesome!

Came with a cool map and detailed info on all the new races.

playing beta now
5 minutes in... yeah little disappointed... skills have cooldowns? graphics are < what i was expecting. not in quality, but style, it feels like some f2p korean mmo.

also, sweet jesus it's laggy, fffuuu.

ED: quests are like a korean mmo, my male wizard sounds like alucard (from hellsing..., which is un-immersing lol) characters have too much dialogue, keep it near silent like the older games ffs :

ED: overdone, walk past EVERY BUILDING... EVERY BUILDING FALLS DOWN.

minibosses don't drop slightly phatter loot...

ED: using lazer beam makes the game actually just stop working. sad.

this game is a LONG way from being released, judging by the very poor quality of this beta build.

ED: and lets not forget the fact that you CAN actually run through to the end of act 1 in under 20 minutes, under 30 if you're unlucky. i dislike this, getting to andarael without killing anything in <20mins would mean you're instantly killed by poison.

I had thought the same thing so the housemate and I did some research and king leoric isn't the act boss, he's equivalent to blood raven in terms of act depth and difficulty.

others (diablo wiki) say there's about 60% more content

nah it is not even half of waht will be in act one
he will probably be the boss but you cna expect alot more stuff in there before you get to him plus a lot more mini bosses.

i ahve noticed since the last couple of updates other things added like self detroying bridges etc so don't think that piddly little act 1 is all of it :)

i also found using headphones for me seems to work better than the speakers for some reason (sound is better and more contenet, i think the spatial stereo is a bit *off* in 5.1

Still waiting for a beta invite and have had D3 pre-ordered as soon as EB had it on their list (which was around 3 years ago now).

Have D2+LoD and all WoW (cept the last one) yet still can't manage to score an invite. A big F U to Blizzard right now.
