Ohh I'm not fussing, I just fnd it sucky

I like the art direction in the D3 gameplay trailers so far.
Why can't people just harden the f**k up and wait and see what Blizzard do rather than bitching and whinging at the first chance they get. We see a grand total of 2 environments in the gameplay trailer. 2. Two. Duo. Dos. Seriously, the game setting will change throughout the game. Day/night cycles change the lighting. (they even have day/night in d2). Some of the editted screenshots do look good. Good for them. I'm sure some of the other dungeons are dark and morbid. Not every dungeon needs to be. |
Exactly. Everyone is crapping on about how the graphics of a game (that won't be out for at least another 18 months) is looking. Seriously, the games look will change beofre release, and even in the game environments.... Cmon, can't we all get along...

To play in window, make a shortcut to diablo and in the Target area you can add a few things. These are the 2 most common commands to use, there are a few more if you use d2loader.
-w (Window mode) -skiptobnet (Skips to battlenet on loading D2) So for example the Target area would look like: "C:\Program Files\Diablo II\DiabloII.exe" -w -skiptobnet |

Something I certainly hope is implemented is class specific side quests and not just the odd one here and there.
This way there is plenty of incentive to try out all character classes. it would also put an emphasis on team player with a variety of classes, since you can't fulfil every quest unless you have a variety of classes in your group. I personally only ever tried the Amazon and Paladin in D2 - the others did not appeal to me. On a different note, I saw a post (here or elsewhere I can't remember) stating that potions had been replaced. After takinga 2nd look at the gameplay movie it seems that potions ahve been supplemented and not replaced (there was a health potion drop). |
I'm willing to put money on potions having a cooldown, meant for 'oh shit' situations, while the orbs are to keep the action going and increase our carpel tunnel

I'm not saying multiplayer isn't fun, it sure is - but I hope its not going to be a WOW/MMO type multiplayer where players are slotted into fixed tank, healer, dps roles - /yawn, standing back and healing is so anti-diablo-universe. From watching the demo it didn't seem there was a clear 'tank' when they were fighting the siege boss, so hopefully encounters will be rough and chaotic, and each player needs to be able to dps and survive through their own skills/abilities as well as from the help of group members. I'm not sure how they'll tweak bosses/encounters to balance solo and multiplayer modes though... but I believe everything should be achievable through solo play, just a lot tougher, and takes a lot longer /rant |
I have to agree that your character is meant to be the ultimate pwnage and is able to complete quests and the entire game on their own.
In d2, this was somewhat offset with diablo's minions getting stronger when more people joined. I hope they don't try and make it into some sort of fast paced WoW and having classes designated as tank, dps, healer, etc |
