Lol at the picture.

I'm booking 2 weeks leave now.

May 15 is a tuesday?
So I'm guessing the servers will go down on release day for maintenance.....:shock::tongue:

Don't forget there will be a good chance the servers won't even be online until like 7pm that day, similar to the SC2 release (unless Blizzard have learnt their lesson).

Not sure how much time I'll take off work, with an upcoming wedding I might only be able to afford to take 1 or 2 days.

I'm doing my backyard from the Friday before with the farther in law (he owns a landscaping business and a bobcat) so If i cant get online, I'll just be fanging it around in a bobcat. Win win really!

WTFBBQ! Motherf@*%ers! Seems I'm destined to wait even longer to play D3. On D3 release I'm on my honeymoon in Europe until end of June. Dirty! As if I haven't waited long enough.. I had my D3 standard version pre-ordered with CDWOW (WOWHD) since October 2009.

When you start killing monsters make sure you're playing Diablo 3 and not daydreaming about it while on the Bobcat.

Thanks hystericalme! spent a few hours playing with a mate last night and loving it.

soulblade64 16th March 2012 11:17 AM

so, do we want to organise a Diablo 3 beta night tonight?

Would be great to burn through some of the achievements.

How do we add friends on Diablo 3, I have no idea :p

Frontl1ne 16th March 2012 11:21 AM

I finished the beta last night. Superb!

They completely overhauled everything, but it still feels like good old Diablo

Radioactiv3 16th March 2012 11:32 AM

Seriously can't wait for this!!

One of my first games on PC was Diablo 1 and that scary as music =p

so is it worth making a US battle.net account and buying it that way? i have a US address i can use, but no US credit card... has anyone tried before?

seems australian players will be connecting to the US server by default anyway

If I live in Australia/New Zealand/Southeast Asia, what server will I play Diablo III on?
Diablo III players in Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia will, by default, connect to the Americas region. By connecting to this region, players will have a wider pool of people to play with and access to a more vibrant and active auction house marketplace. Further details on regional connection options and auction house functionality will be posted at www.diablo3.com prior to release.

How does this impact the items I have purchased in the auction house?
Auction house purchases are bound to the servers in the region in which they're bought. Any items acquired on game servers in the Americas region are bound to those servers and are not transferrable to the servers in Europe or Asia (and vice versa). Please keep this in mind when making purchases in the auction house. We’ll release more details on the auction house functionality prior to the game’s release.

Finished the beta with a Barbarian last night. It was heaps of fun. I also upgraded the smith and got some gear that way. Then I started playing a witch doctor and it was rather boring... It's like a glass cannon without being a cannon. Maybe I'm just not high level enough though?

Also I can't say I'm overly happy about the stat/skill system. I realise it makes things so much easier for them, but it also takes the charm away from having some completely bonkers builds. I'm sure Blizzard didn't envision something like a Hammerdin when they made D2...
