Thanks, saw this video was hosted on IGN and I hate any video site that doesn't just use embedded Youtube!

Thanks for the vid...I liked watching the intro cinematic of the game on his screen behind

soulblade64 8th May 2012 3:28 PM

I've avoided watching the Class spotlight videos for fear of spoilers, are there many spoilers? From what I understand each class has it's own cinematic intro video... I do not want to see these videos until next week.

gregpolk 8th May 2012 3:41 PM

Wouldn't those intros be the same as the trailers for each character they put out ages ago?

hotsuma 8th May 2012 3:43 PM

have weds, thurs , friday off next week for this game , hope it is playable

looks like going to a midnight release is totally pointless , midnight release would be monday midnight , servers go live 5pm tuesday so changed my leave so ill just work tuesday

k1ll3r 8th May 2012 3:47 PM

I am just worried for all you people who are taking time off work just to play Diablo and the servers can't handle it and it just too laggy to play.

I am looking forward to all the rage comments that will happen on release day

Meh, my annual leave is flexible. I can just go back to work and adjust my leave to the week after if neccesary. I feel sorry for those who wish they were home and playing the game, but instead are stuck at work. :D

yes, after choosing not to have oceanic dedicated servers i will be annoyed if it is not playable on release .

I think quality of service for australia players does not fall into the blizzard realm of "when its ready" that falls into , "yeah if enough people complain" we will look into it.

its more **when the prices are in line with everywhere else**

the beta has been more then playable - the only times i noticed lag was when a skill was bugged (spidey bottle anyone?)

the stress test open beta a couple weeks back , was not playable at times for me, the game was locking up for seconds at a time, i tried again later in the weekend and it seemed better minimal lag.

at a guess id say the first day wont be playble due to server issues ' restarts etc, which is fine , but australian latency causing rubber banding will make me a sad panda

I had zero lag in the beta, the few exceptions were when I would have the map or the inventory open and I'd quickly close it and start moving.... During combat, zero lag. Had my Fiance play a Wizard and when I told her she was online her jaw dropped, she was noticing no delay.

agreed, at the beginning of the stress test it lagged hard.
the server went down for 15 mins or so and when it came up - the lag did not reappear. (played it all that weekend lol)

That's what the beta test is for, and in particular the open beta weekend was set as such a short timeframe to have a hell of alot of people hitting it all at once, for the exact purpose of having the servers ready for release day.

I'm expecting the servers to be a bit difficult to log into, however once you're in it'll be fine.

Otherwise I'll be doing the back garden and getting that out of the way.

No big deal really.
