Diablo 3 gold, the new worlds orders reserve currency post 2012!

you heard it here first!

I for one reckon the real$ currency will be f**king awesome.

a) it doesnt affect people playing for story/normally. 99% of the item appeal is finding it YOURSELF.
b) it only really truly affect competitive play, and i'm not interested in diablo for that.
c) you can make some cash for fun when you're through with the game

It's a 55in TV.
With a MASSIVE keyboard in front of it.

I kid.

It looks like a 22/23in Monitor.

Good news.

JW has just confirmed our suspicion of a fourth difficulty called Inferno.

You can expect it to be far harder with mobs being more aggressive and having more abilities and exclusive loot that can only be found in Inferno.

They are aiming for a flat difficulty across the entire board so no needing to do boss runs endlessly.

Finally news that i'm very excited about.

In other news:
Hardcore now has non-permenant death PvP
Inferno will be the same difficulty for Hardcore as it is for softcore
Inferno will be the only place to get some items (level 7 runes)
There is no more lying character screen item attributes like attack speed increase now represent as +0.8 attacks per second as opposed to %'s
There are 5 resistances (poison, fire, cold, lightning and arcane)

and most importantly:
CLOSED BETA WILL START IN SEPTEMBER

Cool so the game should be released sometime early in 2012 if they follow a similar time frame to previous titles.

At the ABSOLUTE earliest (in my dreams) for Xmas 2011 but I would bet very strongly against that.
