This. The always online system is a joke.

As much as I love playing with friends, I'd happily have an "offline" character who is never able to play coop, or use the AH, for times when I don't have access to the internet or when servers are down.

so wish there was an offline mode with no ah for times like this , possibly with local lan play , heaven forbid be good game at a lan.
