Heres my level 47 Barbarian. Almost finished Act3 NM.
She has 200 more strength and 150 more dps while being 4 levels lower.
A lot less health though. Either I need to focus more on health or you need to focus more on dps. The main thing I do is troll the AH for v.high dps 1h weapons with strnght. vitality and a gem slot. The ones here are 160 and 150dps respectively (with gems). 1handers better than 2h imo cos you get 2 gem slots, not one, so I get 26-52 + damage with two gems. I bought these two for a low price of about 8k total. Lots of stuff out there.

Holy shit....I'm a DH in Act 3 NM, level 43, doing 800 damage and with 8k health. Your barbarian is starting to make me think that I'm slightly, just slightly undergeared.

I dont claim any awesomeness. But NM is pretty easy so far with all the bosses being one shot. I think, sadly, that checking the AH for lots of gear going cheap (and prices have dropped a lot) is way easier than hoping stuff itemesed for you drops from mobs. Practically no rares at all that I've picked up ever have I then used. The armor is all a bit old, so worse armour rating than what I'm picking, but better stats. With weapons I search for 1h, with str 100+/vit/slot and max buyout 20k. then sort by reverse buyout. (lowest to highest). then look for the highest dps I can find. then i do the same 3-4 levels later and sell the old ones.

My HC Demon Hunter is now level 17, didn't realise I was about to go into the Butcher because there was no 'ready' check like in multi player...

Heart in my mouth!!! I have so much vitality, but being hit by butcher + flame = 2/3 of my life gone.. I imagine in normal mode I would have stacked on DEX and died...

man im in act 1 NM and my witch doctor is getting his arse handed to him hits wise, takes 3-4 hits and dead and i have 2600hp too

NM had been pretty easy until we got to the area just before diablo and then we got raped hard, as a barb i died like 15 times and in the end we just run away from them, killing diablo was way way easier.

Im not sure if what Im doing is right. lvl 45 monk with 13k hp and 900 damage but struggling with act3nm. Ive been tanking dex but it seems the more dex you have the less it seems to boost your attack. what i mean is that when i had say 100 dex. another 100 would increase my damage by 80. Now that ive got 500, it only boost 30dam. should i be boosting something else? What stats tank up my spirit as it seems pretty damn weak.

I have 6k health with 1000 dps. Head to AH mate and get gear suited for your level.

you need to get your self a beter weopon.
i have a mace with 330 dps

just spent over 20mill gold in weapons and gear only to have them not show up in completed :(

been over 20mins, logged in and out etc and still not showing, gold gone :(

others that have had this happen do them come back?

kangathekat : Same thing is happening to me, the AH does bug out - but the items always get returned eventually, shouldn't be an issue IMO.

A) get my items
B) get my gold back lol

still a bit bloody annoying, only got today off and wanted to try and progress thru act 2 inferno :(

im lvl 40, any chance you could link your character so i have some idea on what to gear towards

Yeah, just spent up in the AH and got nothing.

Only 9000 though.

Edit: I'm looking for players to play with. Level 45 DH, likes exploring.
