so i just finished the trial and still undecided, does the full game have much of a change of scenery? seems very repetitive.. graveyard/crypt.. Where is the cheapest version aussies can buy that will work properly?

If you don't like what you've experienced so far, it doesn't change much, perhaps the scenery, but nothing drastic, pretty much like all Diablo games, though I thought the environments in D2 were better

The game does get more interesting outside the starter edition. Up to leoric was pretty bland IMO as it was tuned for the beta.

If you do decide to get it i'd wait a couple months until they actually iron it out of the testing state it's in. The core of the game is good and there, everything else just needs tweaking and actual releasing.

kool did all my upgrades, insane difference, progressing through the game doesn't give you any gear at all

9k hp and 1250dps now

I just realised over the last couple of days, that HC is an incredible way to play the game.


I rolled normal on my lvl 30 monk and that was fun, but 'rampagey'

I rolled HC on my lvl 18 Demon Hunter and I'm 'addicted' the way I used to be in DII, actually caring about every battle, knowing that eventually it is inevitable that my dude will die, and that I will roll another HC character...

If you haven't tried it I challenge you to get to level 20 with a HC character :) :thumbup::thumbup:

Like a totally new game to me,

It also makes you slow down and smell the roses, and really pay attention to the mob. It'll make you a better player and understand your character even better no doubt!

Pity HC characters will be killed by lag in single player grrr

Can someone thats doing inferno help me out with Hell - Last Boss.

I cant beat him and the AH is down so I cant get better gear.

Huge thanks to Fool, he save me a heap of times. Thrilling stuff, now to get butt raped in inferno.

My connections have been stable, and I stop playing when my lag goes up to anywhere over 300ms.

But yeh I'm rolling a demon hunter so that whatever lag spike issues will still be OK as I can run away...

Once the lag settles down I'll roll my second HC character (probably a monk)
