I have pair of 500dps lvl 53 weapons that's dying to be dual wield for some epic lvl 53 dps lol. My barb is 37, i'm not sure if i should bother though, seeing the situation is for melee in inferno. I already have 60 wiz and DH. :wired:

it'll be fixed in a couple of weeks at most.

enjoy it upto inferno ;)

and as for melee, you NEED the right build and some decent gear

i've worked out the perfect build for my monk, only thing is i can't enjoy damage output, only very unlikely to die.

Yeh I might do that. Depending on how they nerf the wiz and DH again. Might as well get another gimp character up to 60 hoping for a buff instead of getting nerfed again lol.

Is act 3 really easier than act 2 in inferno?

Henry 6th June 2012 12:09 PM

Yeah if I go my tankiest gear/build I can survive most things in Act I without huge hassles if I play smart. Not a fan of playing smart with a barbarian though. Just want to smash things and see skeletons fly across the screen.

RyoSaeba everyone needs to have at least one melee class just to know the joy of it. Plus with your other characters feeding it gear it might actually survive without costing millions/hours!

I'm told the best reward/effort run is doing Seige of Bastions Keep runs in Inferno. Let some mobs get owned by a cannonball and then kill Ghom? Not sure, but that's what I hear from Wiz/DH/WD friends :P

barbs are fine in inferno if you group and have the correct gear.

I played a melee wizard in Hell lol. At 55 I was very well geared and started tanking everything. Swapped out all my range skill for melee and stuff.

http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculato...YSO!bgY!YcYZcY

Had about 300 life on hit, over 1k life on kill and 500 regen per sec and about 400 resist all. I tanked diablo in a 2 player game when I hit 60 toe to toe without moving. Just put diamon skin on when he does the big lightning move and freeze him when cool down is up. Was a lot of fun lol. :D

Lol my friend who plays a barb with fairly decent gears said that the only thing the barb is good for in inferno is making the game more challenging for others.

So for those of you who likes challenge in inferno, invite a few barbarians to your group lol

no way, act 2 is a cakewalk compared to act 3.

basically act 2 is twice as hard as act 1, act 3 is twice as hard as act 2 and act 4 is twice as hard as act 4. I found this to be very true, I was able to farm all act 2 but unable to complete the first quest in act 3 until I go better gear.

I find act 3 heaps easier than act 2 with my DH.

act 2 has more annoying enemies so i'd say so. The only ones i think you need to be worried about in act 3 are the soul rippers. Act 2 you've got to deal with the snakes and wasps, not to mention belial is ridiculously annoying.
