I've cleared inferno, bears require you to be far to close imo fine in act 1/2 useless past.

I use this http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculato...ZPQ!hWV!acaabb

I have a friend who was farming act 3 last night with bears solo. Think he has pretty sweet gear though nowadays.

Yeh I hear ya. But 3D for D3 doesn't really work. Tried it on my 64" plasma too.

Here's my 2nd D3 station. :D 64" + 7.1 surround. The 3D is not worth it so I turned it off, but the surround sound for it is pretty good.

niceeeeeeeee man!!!! hahahaha how good is the surround i think it's the best part! Sh1t's on my megalodon headphones.

I thought the 3d LOOKED fine, I could play i just hated the pixelation in 720p and 1080p was only 24fps which is not playable

My missus is used to it from years wasted raiding with Warcraft.

Its a bit harder these days when the kids come and slap you on the face when you have had two hours sleep.

Very understanding...my wife.

Took a couple of years training though.

Yeh surround definitely is good for this game when you have a decent surround set up. 3D looked fine but it didn't really add another dimension to the game that other 3D games would. It's just not really something that would benefit hugely from 3D. FPS or driving games yes, but not an isometric view clicker like this. Also like you said, 720P wasn't really ideal. Rather run it at 1080P for the higher res.

Hardest bit about the whole setup was how to get the keyboard/mouse in a comfortable position without being too awkward. In the end I settled for 2 pillows propping up a board from bunnings lol. Works fairly well hehe.

Yeah I'm always playing on 1080p TV with awesome surround system, I ended up just setting up a computer chair and table for gaming haha and move them aside when watching TV/movies.

Haha i meant surround sound! I gotta change my sig i got rid of my surround set up! Is it good? I heard there were issues as it wasn't supported with diablo? Probably a way around it though.

I can't play 3D for any games i just think 120FPS is so much better. Many games look awesome but you just can't play it, not when you can have those extra frames it makes it SO smoothe.

+1 I do the same thing, need to keep that area open as really it's more for movies and console gaming haha. Gotta play some mario kart 64 on the big screen!

not even sure why I have bothered with resists on my monk - even @ 900 (with a barb around) things hit disgustingly hard. Really feels like that stat is broken, especially for ground based death - lazors/puddles which can still burn off insane numbers in under a second. Seems even with a defensive setup you can get near one-shot, so you end up getting nailed easy, and still do no dps. Lose lose.

Regardless of all the people crying on D3 forums, I'm actually loving the game. Have been slowing working through inferno, I enjoy the treasure hunting side of things most of all so I don't mind repeating the same levels over and over!

Act2 Inferno got tough very quick!

Yeh surround sound is great with this game. Straight out of the box 7.1 sound. :D When i'm done playing, I just put the board with the keyboard/mouse on the occasion table (the bench thing across the seats) and push it out of the way. It has wheels. :D

It's inferno! Not a tickeling competition.
