Yeah it's deceptive. When I was doing a crit build I was showing 58000 damage, take sharp shooter off and I'm actually doing 20k at base. Changed to a high attack speed build now doing 38000 in Act 2 inferno and that's really feeling no where near enough. The big crits build works well.

Jealous of you DH guys. 20k DPS w/ active/passive skills was hard enough to get, let alone 38k. DarkForceMage cheers, I'll add you once the server goes back up, and insidious how are you making your cash? I found 300k to be a lot.

Trading and selling...I made 1.02M from a 35k item, that's where it started for me. Found a 2H 1.2k dps sword in inferno ponyland, sold for 6M. Pretty much grabbing gear that's undervalued and selling it for a more suitable price :)

Ah, I did recall seeing a 'guide' like that on youtube explaining how this guy was making few mill a day. It was exactly what you're doing.

It makes no difference, if you wait for sharp shooter to build your crit chance... A critical hit is a normal hit dmg * 2 then adding your additional critical hit dmg modifiers.

For example you normally hit a mob for 1000 dmg, lets assume you have a total of 200% crit dmg. A critical hit would be calculated as 1000 * 200%... If you base dmg is lower this affects the potentcy of your crits.

It doesn't matter if you have +500% crit damage, if your base damage is low... it sucks.... It all works in a scale....

god i logged on tonight , it was like i suppose i need to sell some things
you soo dont want to do it i spent about 10min finding what i should sell some stuff for and expect it to sell, after that i listed the rest of my 10 slots for 10k

i just dont want to spend ages searching items to see what i should sell crap for , logged into the game and sold everything gold from 3 tabs under lvl 60 to the vendor. if the server is back up im doing the same for all my bag alts , i dont know what it was but in wow it did not seem to take forever to figure out what to sell crap for . there certainly was less to sell .

from now on if it aint 60 off to the vendor it goes , bunch of nice crap down the drain , did help gear a lvl 47 DH friend last night , he was happy so no total loss he should enjoy leveling more now.

man my wife went out to the movies and was set for D3, over night maintenance had to be tonight, Gutted! just took out the Skeleton King in Hell mode and was pumped for more!

but wednesday QQ i had assumed they would have pulled this yesterday , there was a patch last night , minor too they could not have broken something that badly in that patch ?

This sucks... just went nuts in the AH and my char is now twice as powerful as before. No more getting smashed for the time being.

Only issue here is I CANT FREAKING PLAY BECAUSE OF THE MAINTENANCE.
