lol only 21.5k dps with buff on inferno wizard?

it becomes counter productive, to farm fast enough in hell you need to spend alot of money on good gold farm items, whereas for nm runs you can gear your character with 100k from the AH.

for a gold suit all you want is pickup radius, run speed, and obviously gold find.

I have like 150 gold find, 20% run speed, 20 pickup radius ( don't see the need for more atm ) and 20k dps unbuffed but only 8k hp.

So I basically 1-2 shot everything in NM, but in hell it would take 3-4 with so little hp the hell heros just kill me.

I've also run a 40-50k dps setup with ~100 gold find unbuffed and did act 3 hell clearing it fast but only felt like I was getting 100-200k an hour.

try what works for you as a witch doctor I can basically have spirit walk up closeto 100% of the time doing azmo runs so my clear times can be as little as 2 minutes.

what you really want is int + socket, ias is always on andy.

How did u get 20% movement speed?
I think its better to farm in inferno cos u always have chance of getting some really nice drop. Just got rare boot with high int, 12% movement, resist all 60% n sold it quick for 3mil.

And yet due to being barbarian still can't beat act 2 inferno :thumbup:

edit: the main reason for farming non inferno is in case you have a time limit to buy something on the AH, when you can guarantee 300k an hour you don't have to worry about a lucky drop. for example my group farmed inferno ponies for 5-7 hours straight and didn't get 1 item between us of more then 500k of value and repair costs.

duh, its hardcore, vitality and resistances matter, im guessing he had 60 or more K health, what does your mage have?

You mean 19%? cos im using lacuni bracers too. I suppose your non inferno farming would be handy for quick cash.


Dont know why hes using a shield instead of offhand, cos imo ~30% extra armor isnt worth the ~40% dps drop.
I think he only got ~30k hp cos my wizard has 879 vit n 39k hp. (but only ~160 resist)

my mage has over 62% damage reduction from armor and about 58k hp and 400 to all resist , i do similar dps, i can tank elite mobs in act 1 inferno, stand in the aoe and not move , i sort of like playing a battlemage, but yeah saving up for a sweet weapon that will bump me up, ive upgraded about 4 pieces of gear but i have a screen a few pages back

you cant play hardcore with less than things that can hit you for so 30k hp hero characters would be a little silly, you better off stacking 100k hp and doing 5k dps

A run through on NM with 300+ GF will be quicker and easier then hell... and most of all cheaper since its easier to find GF magic gear worthy of NM then hell inferno. a 300% will still get a heap of 800-1000 gold drops esp through arreat spiders :P

Starting to farm Act 2 inferno, but not gold for items - only have 40% MF + Neph stack so slow going but managed to get 3 really good items which would sell for 2-5m but for once they happen to be something i can use!

Both my barb mates who have beat Belial have played less than 100 hours. One of them needed my help though. Blizzard/venom hydra is the best DPS for Belial.

Where's the best place to farm in act 2?

can you even hit belial with blizzard? last time i tried it would only cast on the platform and do no dps :upset:

It's a 1080dps xbow with a star emerald in it. Found it for 1M on AH. I value it at 20M :weirdo:
