cheers, i'll test it tonight to confirm, but i forsee lots of people selling their gear to their friends in ah for free (15g) repairs :Paranoid:

Except some buyout script will grab anything first. There is no way you would risk selling an item cheap to avoid repair costs.

Look at the average DPS of a 2H Bow/Crossbow compared to a 2 Hand Weapon. It's substantially lower. They're balanced around being used with a quiver on a DH. ie. I can't get an upgrade for under 50mil to my 1137 dps 2H Bow (with a socket). There's hundreds of 1200+ DPS Staves/Axes/Maces for 100k gold.

Yeah but 2h weapons are fairly useless. Rocking around with 1 attack per second and trying to kite? Or trying to get decent life on hit? I could be wrong but I think your two hand bow would have a higher attack speed than any of the standard 2h weapons to start with. You're also comparing your 1137dps bow with a socket and good stats to a 1200 dps 2h weapon with no stats on it. But to put things on an equal footing, if I wanted to have 1137dps and the same attack speed as your DH with my barb I'd need to drop over 100mil :/ That also isn't taking into account the bonus stats you'd get from having 2 items equipped instead of 1. I'm not jumping on the "DH ARE OP!" bandwagon, but quivers aren't needed to keep them on an equal footing with other classes in any regard. If they wanted to do that they could just have the base attack speed of 2h bows increased by 15%.

so when you mouseover to compare a 2h it now takes into account both equipped items.... so how do you compare a 2h bow/xbow & quiver? to 2x hand crossbows?

The LARGE majority of people complaining haven't even had a session since the patch as they're Australia and hopefully went to work this morning.

Unfortunately this is my situation :(

I should just quit and live off the RMAH

The only non-damage statistic my bow has is 700 life on hit, and upgrades usually have no stats either. My initial post never actually mentioned keeping them in-line with other classes, it states they're there to balance the difference between 2H weapons and dual-wielding 1H Crossbows.

Since IAS is a Quivers only guaranteed statistic, Blizzard decided to leave them as is. 20% Dead Man's Legacy's are just going to keep rising and rising (oh and I just got one for 5mil)

yeah, figured that was a potential side-effect.... tbh i was secretly hoping to see somebody read my post, try it, lose the item and come crying here

Does anyone know of a coles / myer company that has it in stock? Or is likely to get it?

I have a giftcard for colesmyer and would like to use it to buy D3.... BigW now have stock again, but obviously that is no good to me, which at least gives me hope that the likes of kmart / target might get it again....

So i don't know about you guys but i'm finding supposed blizzards rubber banding fixes have actually made the rubber banding quite a bit worse.

My dps didn't drop as much as I thought it would luckily though having to go back to my crossbow is a pain :'( although on the upside my crits are quite nice.

Experience bug with new patch. People are finding they cannot level and that followers have reverted to level 13. Looks like the game has reverted some peoples accounts to unpaid starter edition:

Oh man.. repair costs have almost doubled after the patch. It's not helping me in Inferno at all.

You're a part of an economy.

Not everyone can own ferrari's. Not everyone one can wear armani or whatever is a high end clothing brand that I'm trying to use as a metaphor for armour. Fact is, there are people who put in the hard yards or get lucky with drops and sell/use those items to their advantage. No one is owed anything. You're getting drops that enable you to play and progress, just at a slower rate.

Everyone seems to base themselves with a very skewed perspective.

If you want to skip all the effort and time required to get stuff. Spend real money. Wait, you had to work for that money right? Does the work you put into making that money compare with the resulting purchase? Would putting the time into the game be more rewarding overall? Economy.

All just my opinion. Trying to be neutral.

Funny thing is if you play this game, "Put the YARDS in", buy a Ferrari, they can take you ferrari and replace it with a moped overnight, charge you more money for fixing the said moped and say should love it.

TXN 20th June 2012 12:19 PM

Even worse than I thought. I didn't wait til the icon to come up and just went straight back to town to repair. Farming is going to be so shit now.
