nice one ... act 3 gets harder ... you need to be quick on your feet lol ... run when you need to ( some combos are hard if not impossible to play ... )... me and r3s managed to get a 5 stack of nv lol ... 2 barbs .. divide and conquer ...

progressing nicely through act 2, nearly finished but bit scared now about act 3 lol!

apparently I need 1000+ RA and at least 10K armor with 30K+ DPS ... not sure how is that achievable unless I had like 3-400M gold at the current price.

you dont need 30k dps lol ...i can just manage aact 3 with21k dps with battlerage and frenzy ... resist of 1000-1100 and 55k hp ... what you need to work on is man block% ...
you are going to have to sacrifice some dps or as you said its gonna be expensive lol ...
get a shield with 70-80 resist all and block% ... helm of command and justice lantern .... its what every melee class could dream of lol ... and itll cost ya a pretty penny

if you dont wanna increase your ms use sprint and leap combo ... works well in act 3

Yeah was a fun game last night, dragging elite off at a time to kill them while the other kited the pack :p :D

Need far more DPS and LOH i think to make it more enjoyable and not just a repair fest hoping for a good drop.

After a 2-3 hour session last night i ended up 18k down and only had 1 x 1000dps 2 handed axe drop :(

I also buggered up manou, i had my farming boots and gloves on, EPIC FAIL on my behalf, was 820 res all instead of 960+ :(

Woulda made things easier altho i was surprised that we got through and killed what we did :)

Avoiding desecrator and plague etc is the hardest bit, we were taking hits from elites no dramas, but there ground effects were hurting, was soooooo much easier when we kept moving as soon as they cast it instead of trying to just stand there and tank them.

Cycling EQ and WOTB seems to work well keeping an ability open at all times, we still didnt manage to kill a goblin :/ damn things move too fast and run straight into mobs :(

It also helps playing in a group if 1 person has warcry + res all 50% rune and the rest can use something more offensive ( i'll have to remember to put warcry back on when i pl;ay solo :) )

I picked up a shield with 23% block up from 15%, so 31% block with the extra 8% from my helm, and i swapped out my boots etc to the proper gear.

The shield has more all res too but no vitality :(

Got some magic find fast boots with all res as well, so hopefully will get better items and can move around elites a bit easier.

just need that justice lantern :(

Only problem with EQ is when the elite has desecrator you can't see it start to spawn until its hurting you :(

AFAIK he had friends help him to make it easier. They used every trick in the book to get the achievement, which is ok, as Blizzard found nothing wrong with how he did it.

Still getting facerolled in act 3, just now I rage quit because I was farming act 2 in an attempt to get better for act 3, came up against nightmarish molten frozen health link imps and died to them about 5 times in a row, couldn't even try pick them off one by one between deaths because of damn health link. Couldn't skip because of their location and I CBF'd restarting because I had 5 stacks NV. Can solo inferno belial fairly easily but can't get close to beating random act 2 elite mob :thumbdn:

WTF kind of stats are other barbs running to get through act 3?

similar to yours in fact less resist than you ... some combo's are just not worth it ... ull be fine just pick and choose your elite ...

First one was off a skelly in festering wood. 2nd one was off another skelly in one of the crypt in the cemetary. Both Act 1 inferno. My MF is only about +25% and with the 2nd one I had maybe 1 - 2 stack of NV only. :lol:

It's only ilvl 61 item so it would've dropped pre 1.0.3 as well in act 1. it's just luck. :lol:
