That's true. You could probably make easy money off the AH by refreshing Stormshield search with a max buyout of 5mil. Any that pop up with 25% or more block chance, buy, resell at up to 10x buy price. Repeat. Could do the same with RMAH and then sell on gold AH and bank on gold being worth more than you paid for it.

I'm pretty sure people have already automated this process and you'd be competing with their scripts.

So my gf came home with a copy of D3 for me last night! She has hidden it in the house because my final exam for the semester is on Wednesday and she knows I am of weak will. But I've used it as a carrot on a stick to do this last exam properly. Can't wait hopefully by lunch on Wednesday I'll be running around clicking way too much.

Nope. It's actually pretty fun 1-60. Gets grindy after that though. Do whatever spec you like and play however you like. Don't bother with blacksmithing. Just use the Auction House to get your upgrade. It's cheaper and you get exactly what you want. Check it out once every 10 lvls or something. Upgrade your weapon to the highest dps weapon you can afford for your level. Don't spend too much as it will pretty much be redundant in 5-10 lvls.

Pretty sure everything in Diablo is competing with an automated process - which is part of why its all so crap. Can't be hard to have something on their backend that triggers a banhammer for auctions being searched at rates not possible by humans. Just another reason not to bother.

The Auction House prices have risen greatly since the RMAH came online, and there are lots of people complaining that their stuff is not selling. I suspect scripts or just people camping the AH are buying any popular item that is the lowest price quite shortly after it's posted, leaving hundreds of overpriced versions that hardly sell. Sure you get the occasional cashed up desperate that will buy over priced items, but some of the figures are crazy. Tens of millions as the starting price for average set items, just because they have some resists or something you can get from countless rares. Legendary items seem to be cheapish, that's because many are bad.

I am just waiting until the sellers eventually get bored and stop setting greedy starting bid prices. Let the market do it's thing and find out what people are really willing to pay. After all that's what an auction house is, not fixed price house as they are trying to force it to be.

Most of the scripts only do it periodically, the people using scripts tend to be a little smarter though it isn't as efficient. Botting programs that hook into the process however...

Playing the AH is all about luck really, there's just a crazy number of things being posted at any time. If you spend, say an hour playing around in it you're bound to make money/find what you want.

Can anyone craft Helm of Command? I'd like to craft 5-6 and would be happy to tip.

Hey guys, I have been playing this game a lil bit. Quite fun. When I drop below 50 fps (I guess), or when I get in to combat, my fps caps at 30fps. Then after battle goes straight back to 60fps. I do have Vsync enabled. Anyone else having this problem? How do I fix it?
