- WP - > cemetery of the forsaken (sometimes their is a mob near the wp) go to one of the defiled crypts south 1-2 elites for stacks.
- (also check right of the WP for fortune shrine, if its there, save for butcher)
- WP -> festering woods head right a little bit then head up and counter clockwise until you find the first dungeon, get the stack from in there
- head south and find the other dungeon. You should also find some elites just randomly running around
- that should give you 5 stacks pretty quickly.
- WP -> halls of agony level 2, the path is always in the exact same spot so it's easy to find, kill any elites along the way.
- Run over the bridge, usually i don't bother with killing everything, just enough to get past.
- you should now enter the cursed hold.
- talk to the ghost for quest, run past and release the first prisoner if it's there.
- head north, stick to the wall and go around the outside of the cells, when you get to the other side cut back in and find any remaining prisoners. (kill any elites along the way)
- Head down south and do the same (its easier when butcher is north and no chance of unstacking NV by accidentally clicking skills.
- Kill warden, easy as shit.
- head to halls level 3
- Butcher is easy to find, the path is the exact same every time, after 2 runs you will realise this. if you found any fortune shrines near the WP's tp outside the boss wp to shrine, wp back to town and tp back to boss. :D
at this point you can restart, but i recommend, TP back to town, and WP to halls level 3 (you will get this automatically after butcher) should be 1-2 elites roaming around. after done TP to town and WP to leorics manor, head backwards and out into the open. (check for shin bone if you dont have staff of herding yet.) outside there is usually 1 shrine, grab it and kill the elites there.
from here i usually run around ignoring trash mobs, and work my way to the highlands and find the dungeon that's north west, that's wear i end my run.
edit: lol moirae, i stopped looking at the stats on weps to depressing anything under 800dps gets instasold... so every weapon I find 1 or 2 handed gets instasold haha.

Huge thanks on putting that together for me, it's been so long since I did a normal run through Act 1 that I forgot about most of those rares/champs. Makes for a really good run through, I wound up getting about a dozen rare items in less than an hour.
Now I think I'm about ready to take on Act 3 though with the gear I have, I've probably over done it, I'm at the point where I have two sets of gear, a gold/magic find set for act 1 and a high damage/health/res set that I've built up over time and haven't tried out. My res is well over 600 across the board, health is over 40k, damage is up around 19-20k. Not bad for gear that has nothing that cost over 300k (people throwing things on the store and apparently missing the last zero helps though). It's just a question on whether to sink the money into a bow first, I currently have a 920 dps with 160 dex, something over 1000 dps, 200 dex and some crit hit damage would push it up pretty high, I think.
