i bought one for $250

You bought an item for $250?... ok, now perhaps you'll enlighten those of us that are curious, how can you justify $250 on a digital item?

Hey guys, not trying to sell this or anything..just posting up because I'm under the impression it's a pretty good roll and I've finally had an item worth having drop :D I had 5 NV and had just killed the butcher and was clearing up the last of Halls lvl 3 and found a treasure goblin and a fortune shrine...was pretty stoked. Guess I'll have to start a Demon Hunter now lol?

Found an interesting tanking strategy for DH on Inferno Ghom. Gonna try it out tonight. Was tanking act2 champion mob with gloom last night. Worked well until I ran out of discipline hehhe.

hehe, in all seriousness tho, i'd love to borrow it, i have been struggleing to get anywhere in inferno due to my junk gear, and the repair bills have meant i cant actually buy anything these days

Yeh looks like people are only buying the top tier items

The justification is easy, you work out how many hours you would need to work to earn $250, vs how many hours of game player grinding gold to get a similar item, and for most people the $250 works out much quicker.

But for me, I actually grind the game and sell stuff that drops for a few bucks, that I use to fund other hobbies, it's kind of like playing solitare when I am bored. I hardly ever grind Inferno, I don't have the gear for it, but I do fine in Hell getting bits and pieces.

I found my first hellion the other day. Should've sold it, they go for over a mil unid. But I couldn't help myself, ended up with a 600dps POS that I vendored :(
