According to the thread, Kmart is saying it's "too expensive". With how poorly the PSP has performed here, I don't think they're keen to buy whatever amount Sony is pushing to them.

I wonder if this will assist with a price drop similar to what happened with the 3DS

I hope so :)

Guys,

Can I please have ask for some help.

I just downloaded Patapon 3 using PS3. But when I try to load it into the Vita, it only says "no content found" (or something similar)

I followed the instruction:

Content Manager > PS3 to PS Vita > Applications > PSP Content (or something similar)

All I get is "No content found"

I know Patapon 3 works cause I've played it on my friends Vita system.

Can I please get some help? Much appreciated.

I know you can pick up psp games on the vita and the first thing I would get is the last monster hunter game i missed out on. The thing is capcom released a HD version for the ps3. I wonder if we can play this HD version on the vita?

restart content manager, re plug in your vita. I havent tried any PS3 to Vita stuff yet, or applications, but its a refresh thing I think...happened a few times with videos I just dumped in the folder

uncharted looks just as good as it does on the PS3 though i find the aiming a bit difficult when in over the shoulder mode.

How do the game prices on PSN compare to cheap imports?

I have tried that though, different USB port, restart PS3, restart content manager and etc.

I am beginning to suspect maybe Patapon 3 is not supported. I fell under this impression by some internet posts and the fat dude from IGN saying that they have not noticed any PSP game that's not compatible at this stage. Maybe they are wrong.

I'll be a bit more testing with Final Fantasy IX tonight and see how it goes. Will come back on it.

In the mean time, anyone who has the Vita with spare time to run some tests will be very much appreciated.

See this list for initial compatibility...

Looks like Patapon 3 isn't on the list. Annoyingly neither are any of the Metal Gear Games either.

Hey mate,

I believe that the list is not titled as correctly as it can be. These are the initial list that's compatible via Vita's PSN Store.

While there is a conception that PSP game are compatible with Vita via PS3 PSN Store transferral.

I think the above theory are falling apart (still trying to find out) but I have seen youtube video where the dude from IGN has successfully ported MSG Peace Walker into the Vita via PS3.

I am still not over him though....it's him that made me purchasing Patapon 3 this soon :(

they're brining the metal gear games to the PS3 anyways so you get to play them there and they still look good from an early 2000 game...the details really paid off and it doesn't look like it has aged at all.

I have the digital download of Portable Ops which I never finished. I would at some point like to play it and finish it. My gripe with it on PSP was the lack of a second analogue stick for the camera. Hopefully on the Vita you get to control the camera with the second stick.

Check out this video mate, can't say specifically for Portable Ops since it's not on the initial list of compatible games (have read some games working that aren't listed though!). MHFU works though :D
