2x 8gb Memory modules confirmed to work on the N40L

Please note that we are not responsible if the ram below does not work for you. The ram listed below has been deemed working for the below posts YMMV. The HP Microserver is spec'd at 8gb max. Buy at your own risk

Non-ECC

Patriot G2 PGD316G1333ELK. Confirmed by mR_CaESaR, purchased from MSY
GSkill Ares F3-1333C9D-16GAO. Confirmed by whirlpool user Cider, purchased from MSY
2x Corsair 8GB DDR3 1333MHz XMS3 (CMX8GX3M1A1333C9). Confirmed by Hardforum user Terning
GSKILLS F3-10666CL9D-16GBXL DDR3-1333 PC3-10666 8192MBx2, Requires modding the heat sink
AMD Entertainment 16GB Kit(8Gx 2) DDR3 1600 AE316G01U2K . Confirmed by cyanpixie. Purchased from MSY
Corsair CMV16GX3M2A1333C9 16GB Kit (2x8GB) DDR3 . Was originally found not working by Blinky, which was confirmed by BioHazard to be working. Blinky, has then re-tested no two different microservers and confirmed they are both operational. Can be purchased from PC Case Gear BUYER BEWARE WHEN PURCHASING THE CORSAIR VALUE, many people in this thread (also user Ambo) and on whirlpool are experiencing issues with this ram where it will post with 16GB and then after a reboot, it only shows 8GB, the problem seems to be isolated to the N40L, as there are reports that it works perfectly fine on the N36L
