4GB is a lot of memory on a single card (for normal consumers). I'd expect the dual GPU card to have 2GB, single GPU performance cards about 1GB and have some 2GB variants come out later down the track, something like the 4890 1GB and these new 2GB varieties popping up.

While there are gains to be had with 2GB per GPU, not all games makes the most of it.

Aren't those resolutions something DisplayLink will eventually bring to general consumers?

Magic numbers that we've seen before, but hopefully this is somewhat reliable.

The article talks about this chip being like a dual core... So basically a 4870X2 on one card...

Interesting times.
