i cant belive no ones noticed... HANDLES ON THE CLIPS!
as for single 120 rad watercooling, they will NEVER be as good as high end air, simply due to the fact they have LESS surface area (and added heat of pump, more innificient than good heatpipes etc etc)

Yeah i think mobos would have to be poorly supported to come to harm from something like this anyways.
Still it's frikken MASSIVE. I think it'd look alright just sitting on my coffee table

fiberglass is stronger than you think.
but remember its backplate mounted so you should really be saying how strong is the cpu array and package itself :P this is still nothing compared to teh days of hanging 800 grams of copper off the plastic lugs. |

This is most likely going to be crap, like all heatsinks with a fan jammed in the middle.

![]() i reckon noctua got it dead on when they did the inital designs... fin spacing, fin thickness and welding. all these otehr companies keep changing these whereas noctua have stuck with the same basics since the first coolers they made which still had exposed copper that tarnished really easy (and when that hole that goes through all the fins was actually useful for a screwdriver with the rotatable mount) ![]() i couldnt be happier with my NHU-12P, NH-C12P and NH-U9B and NC-U6

Then the cooling companies learnt that actually making a big block with a fan on one end was the best way to do business, and the heatsinks using that design are still the best around.

From the reviews I've read, I think the Noctua is on par with the IFX... maybe better by 1 or 2 degrees.
Any news on when the NH-D14s are coming to Australia? Thinking about purchasing one if they don't cost an arm and a leg...
