Default Canon super exotica on ebay...

I thought some people may be interested... Like Syn the Canon convert fanboi

Old school, now well and truly no longer made (due to lead yes?) and not to be made again most likely.

Canon 200mm f1.8
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Canon-200mm-1...#ht_500wt_1182

Canon 50mm f1.0
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Canon-50mm-1-...item4a9be630cf

dream dream dream... much like his prices yes?
They seem a tad unrealistic to me, but maybe.....

They're not unreasonable, because people who will want it will pay for it... welcome to the world of scarcity.

They aren't that exotic, but I agree I think he'll be lucky to get those prices. The 200/1.8 is more in the $3000-$3600 range. 50/1.0L is $3000-$4000.

Both lenses were worth a little more before the new 200/2L IS and 50/1.2L were available.

I've had the privilege of using this lens and the owner paid $5.5k for it back in 2007. So not sure about 6k? its a bit much for a "creative" lens, but for the avid Canon collector, its worth it.

Can't see why anyone would actually purchase the 50mm other than for bragging rights, Canon won't even service those anymore as they've run out of parts... Imagine if it got damaged in shipping

Your dick will be huge if you had one of these

Isn't there a f/0.90 or something faster as well? By Zeiss perhaps?
