wow, some quick responses there.
well surprised much, never knew the public opinion on thermaltake was so low!
from what ive read (which is a mix of pcpp, pcu and atomic-mpc) they looked fairly good, lol
what exactly is wrong with their systems? as i was only really looking for a system to cool the cpu, as i am not that rich - like way not enough to afford swiftechs such system which i think someone called rubbish @ $400 worth??
many quick replys so far, tnx

if u only looking to cool ur cpu, just get the megahelm or the true in a push pull config with fans like scythe ultra kaze or if u dont mind the noise, the delta 250+cfm fans

The big giveaway is the fact that the Swiftech kit has been reduced from $469 to $389. That's because they could not sell the kit either at the original price or even reduced as it is now. Incidentally you would be the unpteenth person to peddle that kit here in the last few months. Rofl

They dropped the price when i7's came out. So they could get rid of their socket 775 apogee's and the price stuck.

Mw4rD, The Wraith is not getting the point.
You want a good kit at a low price, that will fit into a antec 900.
Now what he doesn't know is that this kit had the best bang for buck.

If this kit (which has all the components to cool a cpu in 1 loop, for a good price) is to much money for you to spend on watercooling, just stick to air.

If you want me or some other fellas to make up a kit that you want customised for your setup please ask and we will deliver.

WuzzA21 Wrong again. Amazes me how you make such claims. On each occasion people have asked about this kit here on extreme cooling they have been told to get something bigger. Many of those who bought the kit anyway subsequently returned and admitted that they had purchased a larger triple radiator or added to the kit a single fan rad to the kit to cope with their systems heat load.

You really shouldn't confuse cheap with effective here on this forum or use such terms a bang for buck with kits. There are many here who will be happy to correct this misrepresentation. When you state "that this kit had the best bang for buck" you should keep in mind the operative term here is "had". The kit has been superseded several times and is far from the performance crown of current water blocks such as the Heatkiller.
