I dont have an i7 myself but isn't that speed a little extreme.
It actually works at 7.7ghz????

if its anything like amd's HT bus, it would not matter if you left it at 5x and doubled the fsb.

Hey, well guys final OC I think is 4.2GHZ with 7200QPI with 1200MHZ DDR3 at 7-7-7-21 timings.

Have now set the puppy back and im aiming for around 3.8 24/7 due to heating problems, she gets quite warm due to the hot days atm here in WA.

I dont think anyone has ever got 7200mhz qpi bus speed even on ln2 so good on you for somehow breaking a world record.

CPU Z says 3600,

So what do you say of that?

LOL, you guys just dunno do you!

Its half Duplex, AMD is full DUPLEX that's why Bios says 7200, CPU-Z says half of that. So all in all 3600 is still a lot better then any other :P
