Default Link for psu calculator

Hi guys,

I'm thinking of buying a asus 9800gx2 from here but not sure if my psu will be enough to run my entire setup. I remember a while back someone had a link to calculate how much power you need.

I've read so many reviews how power hungry these cards are. Recently upgraded my psu so don't want to spend anymore $$$.

Please help!

Mwahahaha, yeh 12v amperage is important to look at on psu manufacturer's websites. Make sure you set it to 100% load as a precaution.

Recommended Minimum Psu wattage: 387watt

so does that mean my antec neoHe modular psu be more then enough???

Though I would need like 700w to run a 9800gx2??

Thanks Terra and meister

the corsair calculator is so simple. CPU,GPU,HDD

So it recommended VX450 upto HX650. So looks like it should be fine!

Now gotta decide if the asus 9800gx2 is too loud or not, I really hate loud fans on gpu. Also hopefully fits inside my mini asus v3 case
