My mate has got a set of the Logitech Z-5450 what would be the best way connection method? toslink, rca?

The speakers are the older model of the Z5500s. They are wired
As for connection methods, it depends on how good your soundcard is. If it is onboard, you will be hardpressed to find a difference between toslink and analogue (3 plugs - green, pink, black?). However, if you have a decent soundcard, i'd go with the analogue plugs. |
