Your complaint is a common one for that case I think. This is the kinda thing you want is it?

BTW, would you mind taking some pics and posting them here please - I guess you got a black one.
I'd so love to get a blue one of those cases and dress it up to look like a Tardis!

BTW, http://www.overclockers.com.au/pix

It would have been nice to see the pics without the PSU in place geesh, it's tight in there hey !

Re: the cable, AFAIK it's an overseas or ebay job for pre-made ones.
Personally I would just cut it in the middle and solder in an old bit of network cable - don't forget to slip your heat shrink on for each join on before you join. You can buy 1.2 meters of 1.5mm heatshrink at Jaycar for $1.45.

It might be a good way to go.There is bugger all space with an atx psu.Temps are a bit high with everest torture test on it got to about 80c.Though since its just going to be a htpc it probably wont ever be pushed that hard?

FWIW I was considering getting one from www.logicsupply.com. They're US based but they sell a ton of tiny gear for good prices (postage not so good though I don't think). I haven't bought from them before but they're pretty cheap and have tons of stuff... so I'll probably grab some stuff next payday

PicoPSU 150 watt $36usd + $10 usd postage

There is the Australian version of minibox.com -> http://www.mini-box.com.au

The CPU does or the inside case air temp does?
You really need to tidy up those cables somehow, I don't know how anything could move in there - even air!

Could be a little high temp wise.
A quick (only four screws), but more importantly CHEAP way to tell, is to run the system with the PSU outside the case - god knows you should have long enough cables by the looks of it, to do that. Let us know how you go.

Beyond that check, that the heatsink is well seated on the processor (i.e. making good contact).
