I was actually unaware you could get the Quick Launch bar in Windows 7, I was under the impression they had scrapped it all together for the new super bar.

I followed that walkthrough, but I noticed if you add the Quick Launch bar it makes the superbar slightly thicker and then your normal pinned items look messed, does this happen with everyone else? (I've set View to large icons, not show the title and not show text)

Just switch between small and large icons with the Quick Launch bar and watch what happens to your pinned items.

Also, it messes with the translucency of the taskbar, put the quick launch bar to the right and switch between large and small icons and watch it go darker.

Have you tried just adding a windows folder as a toolbar? Would do basically the same thing and may fix some of those issues.....

If it's already running slowly, don't install Win7. I've done side-by-side tests. If you disable everything *(there's a lot)* in WIn7, you can get it running near to the performance of XP standard install, but there's nothing in Win7 that will beat XP nlite'd.
Don't know why everybody is so hot-to-trot on WIn7, I found it embarrassing, to be honest.
Keeping up with the crowds. I've never had security problems with XP.

No classic start menu in win7! that sucks, and no im not using that gay csmenu program especially since its not free

No windows mail. FU! and no. windows live mail is not the same

i dont know i may be old fashioned but some of those things really tick me off.
