Hey guys,
I've got a 5850 black edition, it's a reference card. Now what I was wondering is weather anyone knows if the components on these are any better than any other reference card? I flashed my powercolour 5850 to the xfx black bios and it's working perfectly fine however it doesn't overclock anywhere near as well. So in closing are premium brands actually better than other reference cards or are they all basically the same and it's run of the draw?

Yeah they are more or less the same.
A different BIOS might change memory timings or even voltages which can affect the overclocking...
