I went to a lan party yesterday and could not boot windows from my G.Skill Falcon F1

Turns out they are still having issues with TRIM in win7 and data corruption, so i'll have to downgrade its firmware to 1571 and use the wiper tool

Have had to problems at all with my Intel and Cruical SSDs.

Seems like a lot of people are saving problems with SSDs from smaller manufactors.

This is a screenshot of my dying/dead G-skill falcon II drive in my workshop PC:

Not happy. After this point the SSD started to screw up majorly, and actually disconnected

Taking it back to umart today, picking up a corsair SSD in while the G-skill is away for warranty for the 3rd time

Can't really fault G-skill that much though, just this model is shit - bought 3 pheonix pros since then, all working fine.

SSD's are the future! Buuuut they're still fairly new sooo..... wait for all the kinks to be worked our hey? ~.^ Velociraptors or Barracudas' still perform amazingly...
