Hey fats, how would an XE or Prommy go on a GTX580? (serious question, just for benching of course)

Either one wouldn't handle it, I have a 2hp rotary SS unit (for gpus) and even it was having trouble with my GTX480 overclocked.

Yeah, sorry to say but not really any use for it on modern hardware. Maybe as a NB cooler on 775.

Idle yes, but as soon as you run a benchmark it would be overheating by the end I reckon. You can try it, I wouldn't tho.

Once you ask a phase change unit to remove more heat then it was designed/tuned to the temps start crashing and it gets really hot very very fast.

wow nice system. love the 120x3 water setup.

we now are over 1000 points without dodgy submissions (overpaq'd had more points removed again)

well done everyone

Great work t8y. While your having fun, I'm at work
BYW I have the same mouse and same screwdriver, you extra points with that screwdriver lol

Man my points have dropped over the last few weeks, from over 150 to 129.

I have a 965BE and a new mATX mobo to bench, just need to prep the board for cold and then find the time to bench.
