Default BF Bad Company 2 or Crysis 2

Which game has better graphics BF Bad Company 2 or Crysis 2?

I know that a lot of people have been bashing Crysis 2 for being on DX9.
I see that Bad Company 2 is DX11.

Are you only after good graphics or do you want some good game play mixed in?

Why do you want to make these comparisons anyway? 20 years ago people probably made the same comparisons between Doom, Duke Nukem 3D and Wolfenstein 3D.

You should ask: Which game is more fun for you?

Here's some BFBC2 shots I just took at max setting

If someone can post max res screenshots of Crysis 2, can compare

I'm fairly new to PC gaming. I bought a nice gaming machine, and I want to see what modern graphics looks like.

Innocent question really.

Thanks for some screens.

The lighting looks very nice in Bad Company.

Crysis 2 has better graphics. I would say BFBC2 for multiplayer but BF3 is coming so probably not the best buy at this time. Also the multi is quite different so they cannot really be compared like for like.

and to me Crysis 1 DX10 > S.T.A.L.K.E.R Call of Pripyat DX11 > Crysis 2 DX9. Graphics don't mean much to me and besides most modern games are so close to each other graphics wise that it's almost stupid to make a comparison to begin with.

Gameplay/Story >>>> Graphics

Crysis 2 is definitely prettier, however it is also more linear and scripted to help it be pretty. BC2 is very pretty in a big open multiplayer environment with lovely physics and destruction.

Also BC2 is quite a bit older so it seems a bit of an unfair comparison anyway. Would you like to compare Crysis 2 to the videos of Battlefield 3 so far?

Not at all

I thoroughly enjoy BC2, i've got over 430 hours on it according to Steam. I just don't think BC2's graphics, even DX11 (which admittedly only improves shadows and some textures as far as i can tell), are as good as C2's:

I played some Crysis 2 campaign tonight. Resized to 40% to fall under 500kb.
