How about an industry ombudsman of some kind?

Why did you build a servo arm to flick a switch, wouldn't a relay do the job much nicer?

Illegal (I'm not normally one to care about such frivolities but it's different if you're renting) plus it would be expensive and difficult to find a relay that would handle so much amperage.

I like the physical solution to an electrical problem. Reminds me of "Wallis and Grommet" for some reasons, haha.

Relay is easy to get and cheap from Jaycar $7.95! But your method is much more fun!
