Battlefield 3 OCAU servers

For those that are VIP, update your OCAU/Origin/Soldier name here please.

Due to the latest R9 patch, I cannot, repeat, cannot make the round start with 1 player only.

VIP slots are in Dice's hands, and we cannot do anything about them until they are fixed.

The same story was given by Game Servers and any rubber banding or lag et al, will need to be addressed by Dice first.

Sever locations:
Server 1: OCAU x64 CQ Hardcore

Sydney

Server 2: ~~OCAU 24 Vanilla Team Deathmatch~~
Seeing how, hitting a neishe keeps the other server full, tomorrow, I will set this to be infantry only CQ

Server 3: OCAU 32 CQ 600 Tickets Insta Vehicles
Adelaide
173.199.80.221:25200

Servers 2 and 3 are in Adelaide because there is no space in Sydney.
When space becomes available, they will be moved.

Rules:
Try to play in the spirit that the game was originally designed for
Show some good sportsmanship. Take turns using vehicles and aircraft. If you see another player waiting for an aircraft or vehicle to re-spawn, please do NOT cut in line but wait your turn.

Maps will be rotated randomly.
Do the objectives first, worry about your KDR later.
No base rape whilst there still are objectives to do.

Try not to swear or abuse others obsessively.
If a handful of admins have proof that you are cheating/hacking, you'll be ban hammered (plus why ruin your $14 AND OCAU reputation).

I would, but only for a guaranteed spot.

You'd probably be better off gauging interest after the game has launched to see what the servers are like.

Just make it $15pp for 12 months from the release date. Everyone pays the same amount of money and everyone gets until the 25th of Oct next year.

64 spots open, $15 a pop. First in best dressed. Server will boot public members in favor of OCAU paying people.

Im interested in this but as mentiond, probably best to see what the servers are like once the game is actually released. Also depends on what game modes the server will be running and how often it alternates etc

hmm ... I can't recall battlefield 2/bad company 2 when I first started playing, but were the servers always jam packed and you had to refresh for 10 mins to find a server ?

IIRC for bf2 you could wait or play on a 500+ ping server

if its for a year put me down for 3 slots

If its like BC2 all the good servers where generally full most of the time.

As for the price if its $15 per person per month I think its too much, going by what current BC2 servers are going for.

It is for a year. Server cost was said to be $1000 per year.

$1000 / 64 player = $15 each, for a year.
