Default Carrots is sick of the 560 screaming

Hi All,

So my machine is a bit of a joke these days (Q6600 and an nvidia 560) but I am sick and tired of the viveo card's fan - so can anyone reccomend a gpu block ?

I have a couple of bits left over so I can bash together a loop - I just have nfi about the gpu block to use ?

Anyone know if the 560's can use the same blocks for gpu/ram as the higher range cards ?

Interestingly, some people are using Antec 620 cpu cooling blocks for em. Only $89, and then all you need are some VRM heatsinks! If you don't want to spend too much money on the job and are a little handy anyway.

It's a cheapish solution in any case

The reference 570/580s share the same PCB, but the 560 is smaller.

There are options for a full cover block:

Otherwise a compatible universal block and some heatsinks for the VRMs works wonders.
