Default [closed] LX5 AVCHD to DVD

Did some general pics of a friends wedding (nothing professional) but want to give the files as well as a dvd of what I took.

What is a simple (free ideally) program to easily convert an LX5ís AVCHD files to DVD?

If it can make a slide show of the pics as well thatís a bonus

justa tip to anyone that uses this.

dont save the project as the DVD recommend settings. looks utterly crap on a dvd.

save HD settings then convert the wmv file created to DVD using the DVD maker. much better results.

You could also try FFmpeg, or the gui version also available for windows called winFF. This should be able to turn pretty much any format and res into any other format and res.

It only converts though.
