Got a photo shoot for a small clothing company last year which I enjoyed, would really like to do any kind of photography at this stage as I enjoy it all and want to expand on my skills. Pls excuse first post motivated by pure self-interest: I also have a 5D2 and a 7d and am considering an UWA to suit the full-frame camera. What is the recommended lens? I am somewhat inclined to spring for the Canon 24mm f:1.4 II at around $1500... what do you think? Thanks for any pointers!

Hello,
thanks for your note - I spend a lot of money 'foolishly' to indulge in what is, unfortunately, but an occasional hobby (I am still building my house, all by my little self!). My last major purchase was the 100mm macro L IS USM, for which I dropped $1500 at an extortionist nearby CameraHouse outlet (don't tell my wife). So I am a little hesitant to spend much at the moment. I have the 200mm II with a 2x TC III almost permanently hitched to the 7d, which I use to 'capture' birds around us in our bush block setting. And I bought the 5d2 with the 24-105 zoom. Also got the 50mm 1.8, so I am reasonably well equipped in lenses, I think. Still, you're right: it's only money! And why not spend it while I still can (at nearly 76) LOL. Cheers, LMH
