Click to view full size! Significant progress made, forgot to take more pics in between. The Corsair single-sleeved kit not looking super amazing but seems to do the job. The top radiator was the second worst part of this build so far. Lining up the rad, fans and top holes proved to be horrible. Had seen someone use wooden skewers to keep everything in line and ended up doing this, but took a good 45 minutes of fiddling about before I was able to get it right. Click to view full size! Shows the drain valve at the bottom. Really hoping this doesn't cause too much restriction. Click to view full size! PSU in. This was HELL ON EARTH. In hindsight, having only 30mms room or so between the bottom rad and the PSU, I probably should have put the PSU in first. Live and learn I guess. This is my biggest beef with the 800D so far, the PSU must be slid in from the side. If only it was possible from the back it would have made my life a lot easier. This took hours and my hands were literally bleeding by the time I had worked all the power cables into the slots. The neighbours probably learnt a few new swear words too. Click to view full size! Everything taking shape. |

Tubing just about done.
Click to view full size! Loop complete, just some cabling to do before filling her up. Click to view full size! Time to fill - super exciting. Click to view full size! Click to view full size! IT WORKS - SUCCESS!!! Click to view full size! Click to view full size! Click to view full size! These are the pretty socket head screws I was referring to before. Click to view full size! Click to view full size! Now I can sleep. It is by no means complete but I will say it is assembled and it works. I need to: 1. Tidy the cables visible through the window 2. Manage the cables at the back of the case 3. Run for 24 hours to leak test 4. Learn to use the Aquacomputer fan/temp/flow controller 5. Acrylic sheet to hide the PSU and bottom rad section 6. Lighting - might be ok but I feel it needs some improvements 7. Proper photos of it (by someone who can use a camera much better than me) 8. Test out the OC capabilities of this beast Going to take some time to not work on this now so I won't be doing any more work updates for a week or two. Hands ache and I'm tired and cranky so going to just relax before building my girlfriend a new (SIMPLE) build on Tues/Wed. Hope you guys like it so far. |

since your only running a single card, do you really need that extra PCI-E power? i mean the random cable over the card looks ugly

Been running like a dream for over a week now with no issues at all.
Have just left a very easy 4.5Ghz over clock on it. The GPU temps are most impressive, idling at 30 and rarely hitting 50 while gaming. However, I am now in a financial position where I may need to sell it, as much as it pains me to say that. Quite scary the dollars that were sunk in to this project to be honest. |

Looks good man, if you feel that you need the cable, run it near the rear of the case between the mobo and gpu.

Selling it is near suicidal, you will be lucky to get 50% cost, let alone time+effort+emotional investment. But hey, you gotta do what you gotta do.

You'd be better off stripping and selling it in pieces. That way people will buy what they need/want and in the end you should get more $$$ than selling as a whole PC.
