Default Mass Effect 1 DLC?

I got myself a second hand copy of Mass Effect about 2 years ago when I got my first Xbox360. At the time I wasnt interested in looking at DLC stuff.

Now after Mass Effect 2, and now 3, I have started to plat the original again.

However, When I went into the DLC section nothing came up. Is that because its no longer there, or that I'm using a second hand copy?

Thanks all!!

If you purchased the DLC at some point you can go to the add ones for mass effect and redownload the DLC. You can queue it up here If you previously had a copy of the game which had BDTS on the disc and now have a copy that doesn't have it you'll need to purchase it.
