I think they have sales taxes on now though don't they? I remember asking my boss about it as he travels to Norfolk once or twice a year for work and he said the laws had changed in the last couple of years.

Yeah, it had since changed hence 'was'. Haven't been there myself, wouldn't mind going at some point.

Is there any chance that anyone ever took photos at Lego shows in Brisbane around 20 years ago? Actually, it doesn't specifically need to be Brisbane as I'd imagine that the display went around the country. I'm after any photos of what the castle stuff looked like. It was shown as part of the minifig displays after the main theme of the show.

hmmm - was looking at options and couldn't find some stuff in the earlier 100 or so pages.
Have people looked at buildandplay.com.au for pricing? If so, and remembering I am close enough to Burwood for pickup, what do you think given the exorbitant prices you find on ebay for some sets? thanks fishman_71 edit: sorry about that long list before - it was rather crude, so I worked on brickset - http://brickset.com/search/?ownedBy=fishman_71

Looks like buildandplay have a default 25% off, so good value IMHO! When/if they get the Technic sets in I'm looking for, I'll order

If anyone is intrested i might have two sets up for sale soon:
4195 - Queen Ann's Revange 6243 - Brickbeards bounty. Both sets are immaculate and come with everything. By that i mean , the box, mint instructions, all stickers (unused), and sails (never used) as well as all the plastic bags the blocks came in (which have been neatly cut open). PM me if anyone is interested.

Nice trailer! Good that the digger fits on it - or did you design it that way?

Did you guys know of the Monster Fighters theme?? Looks pretty cool. I wonder how good the 10228 Haunted House is?
http://www.brickset.com/browse/theme...ter%20Fighters Also, there are pics of the R2-D2 UCS set up now. Not sure if you've seen it yet. Doesn't look too bad to me. http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=10225-1

R2D2 UCS does indeed look good. Much better effort than I expected. Looking forward to the B-Wing now. |
