Could also have been a bad carton especially since he is east coast, it seems to me that there is a bit more variance in LCPA these days or it's been dumbed down...or I've just had too much of San Diego's finest (probably the later) which has now skewed my (unrealistic it seems) expectations.

Sweet in your mouth, then goes to an IPA bitter finish after you swallow The belgian yeast is very mild though.

Definitely AU top 10 again next year.

Wasn't expecting much. I don't in general, when it comes to alcohol, let alone stouts. Most are... shit, let's just say.

I was really pleasantly surprised with that one, however.
