Little bit of thread digging and BAM!

Added castor wheels to my Fractal XL File Server. Much more easier to maneuver around. 40-45 Kilos of lugging around isn't pleasant.

How did you get to the figure of 40-45kg? Even full of hdd's you would be struggling to pass 35kg.

Why not look at a lighter case such as a Lian li a71/77?

Took it to dad's workshop which has a large scale. Was above 40 kilos with full drives (No hdd's in the 5.25" bay at the time).

Corsair HX850 + 8800GTX + 5x 3.5" drives + 1x Blu-Ray Burner + Network card + 1x 4 Port SATA RAID Card + 1x 8 Port SATA RAID Card

Fractal cases are very very heavy for what they are. And I definitely wouldn't spend anything over $200+ for a case that was going to store drives its entire life. Anything above that I would start investing in a server rack

I finally got onto the 120hz bandwagon...

At first i was like "Yeah i guess its smoother"
Then i went to nvidia control panel and its default setting is 60, so i changed it to 120hz
Then the difference became apparent, its amazing! Loving life right now haha

You know what would of been funny, if this computer was a "dell" and you push it into the ocean.

Then it would be "Adele" - Rolling in the deep.

I'm sorry but the math doesn't add up

Case 18kg
Mobo+ CPU + ram + cooler 2kg
Psu- 4kg
Addon cards 2kg
Hdd's- 4kg

=30kg give or take.

There is a big difference between slight exaggeration and bullshitting.

Even another 5 hdd's doesn't even get you close.

Your math doesnt add up. A WD 2tb hdd is ~0.72kg. The case supports 10 by default, thats 7.2KG, then say you use a 4 in 3 bay adaptor for the spare 3 optical bays, that brings the HDD weight up to a total of 10kg. Case is 18, so total of 28kg. Board, ram and such is probably about 2 to 3kg. Lets say for arguments sake 2.5, that takes the total weight up to 30kg(as the case is actually only 17.5). Then add the casters, depending on what they are made of they could weight in total of 1kg. Then addon cards is 2kg as you said, PSu is 4.5 presuming it is 1000W. New total is 37.5kg. Optical is roughly another 1kg, so that brings the total up to 38.5kg.

You little girls should just go to the gym, beef up a bit.. I have my case above my head on my desk (see sig) and it moves around all the time.
