anyway im having 2nd thought about cpu too 3570K is probably still better even if i dont oc. 3550 has HD2500 and 3570K has HD4000, would that make any difference in cpu temp even if i dont use the onboard gpu?
actually now im unsure about the case.. (i know i went through this like year ago) but i could change it to Lian Li T1 ITX test bench with 1x 3-4TB HDD, that way i shouldn't have any issue with hsf or gpu, and can o/c too.

you shouldn't get higher tempts from the chip if they're not being used. Cubitek is rolling the cases out as we speak so they should hit our shores any second, or just get them straight from Cubitek, Tim their sales guy is awesome and very helpful. Test-bench would be a good meantime but with no filters its gonna cake with dust. up to you though.

Ended up getting TU200, def happy with the decision cos Q11 would have been way too small/tight. I was wrong about HDD support in TU200, it can support 4x 3.5" HDDs with the GPU. (thought i had to remove the bottom half of the HDD bays to install the GPU like in PC-A04) Everything on TU200 seems be to be good except for PSU space, ultra hard to install the HX-650(smaller than most PSU n modular) n 7970 was hard too.. it would be impossible to fit the PSU with NH-L12 LP imo.

I think this case would have been much better,
1. move the HDD bays to the right(2-3cm) since PSU def needs more space for easier installation, n theres room to move the HDD bays at first place.
2. remove the front intake fan, should be able to support ~2cm longer GPU, n also give move room to move the HDD bays to the right(~4-5cm).
3. remove the handle and replace it with front intake fan(now top exhaust fan).
4. change 4x 3.5" HDD support to 3x 3.5" HDD to provide more room for GPU, cables, etc.
5. replace the 3pin LED header to 2pin, since most/all ITX mobo supports 2pin header to save space.

Anyway both cpu(3570K @ stock speed with stock hsf) and gpu(Sapphire HD7970 reference, stock speed) reached 75C after a quick game. (case closed, ~26C ambient temp)

Sounds like the case is a bit of a let down, In any case, when the Cubitek do hit our stores you should be able to offload that one to cover the cost of the ICE as it's only about $150.

I like TU200(except for PSU installation part or maybe i need smaller? PSU) and probably keep it for ages.

But i still think TU200 would have been better IF it provided more room for the PSU(that way u can also install decent cpu hsf), have top exhaust fan instead of the handle, and maybe also 5-6x HDD support but make the bottom half removal like in PC-A04.

Anyway, some pics of TU200 since i can't find any in this forum.

What are the most top/most popular M-ITX cases going around?

e.g. top 5... really thinking of building one..

I wanted to get the alienware x51 with the 330watt psu and get gtx670 fitted into it case looks so cool

Silverstone SG07 still seems to be the best case for a monster GFX card, with good airflow in the case.

just built a PC into a SG08 for a customer. was quite nice.

note to self though, charge more for labour on a m-itx build in future..
spent ages cramming everything in lol.

im running a li-li pc-q08 at home, its quite good though its way taller than the silverstone

I built a system up in a SG08 case the other day, I didn't find it too bad once I read the manual and put a little bit of though into routing the cables. If you do another one in the same case I imagine it'd be a lot quicker.

yeah, first time through is always slower.

i've rebuilt my pcq-08 several times now, takes about a third of the time, and the cables are 100x neater lol

any 3dmark results, load cpu/gpu temps?
i only get ~8500 3dmark11 on my ITX with oced 7970.

My SG-08s PSU gets quite an audible humm going when placed under a fair bit of load.

Anyone know how big of a PSU they can jam into one of these things? I'd like to make a Dual-GPU rig like the above 690 ^^
