Default Dell XPS 15z battery issue

Hi,

Yesterday after I picked up my laptop, and the AC adapter plug fell out slightly, it shut down. There was no indication that the battery wasn't charging prior to this, and in fact, the little battery indicator in the bottom right said it was charging. It would only boot with the AC adapter plugged in, and the battery won't charge. It is stuck on 58% with '2298 hrs remaining'. In the BIOS, it says that there is no AC adapter, and the charging indicator on the laptop flashes orange 4 times, then white once, and repeats.

Has anyone else had this issue and found a solution besides sending it back to Dell?

Thanks.
