Finished the Krankosaurus over the weekend. Once again, I had to restart a number of times due to impatience and other factors.

After drilling the new enclosure I got from Jaycar:

After the black base was applied. Imagine there's a couple of coats having gone on over the course of a day or so.

Went with the black, this is the t-shirt transfer applied to the pedal.

This is what happens if you apply too much clear to the first clear coat. The transfer will do wierd stuff, so I scraped it off with a scraper (!) and started again, about 4 times.

I took it easy the 5th time, applying bugger all clear, waiting a fair while before doing another coat. I had a couple of bumps in it, so instead of trying to make the clear perfect, I wet and dried it very lightly and then cut and polished it up.

And here's a gutshot:

So that's it. Done like a dinner. Still want to make more pedals, but I really don't have the patience for it!

I'm glad someone else's pedals come out looking like spaghetti, looking on the diy pedal forums they make wiring pedals an art form, aka wire porn.

That and the making decals are the most time consuming bits of pedal making if you want good results, you spend all this time soldering the chip then jam it in a rats nest of wires :s

As for the decals I tried printing out stuff like you have but it starts peeling and gets air bubbles, the simplest best looking results I've had are from metal etching, though I haven't tried painting the metal etch so all the pedals come out looking the same which gets a bit boring.
