It seems we're fortunate enough to have TPG's IPTV on at our exchange, and even more fortunate that being Stinkey-siders, IPTV includes the free-to-air digital transmissions as well. I watch bugger-all of anything, but my housemate whinges whenever there's a game on he would like to watch but can't because there's absolutely zero reception.
TPG's instructions all say you need to use VLC, but that's frankly a dog of a program, so was wondering if anyone has figured out how to use XBMC as the player yet? |

TPG IPTV -> VLC server backend -> RTSP Stream -> XBMC stream plugin? (if there is one?)
XBMC hasn't ever really been geared toward streaming from my understanding though. I also don't know much about the TPG IPTV unfortunately. |
