Yeah, They have soldered those babies tight. Hence you can swim with it, mix curries with it, throw it in the fish tank and watch the fishes make sweet love with that mama.

Nothing will phase that Filco........nothing at all.

Damn, not liking it at all.

I'm use to the 55g and now I have to try and calm down when I type....which is a big thing for me. 30g is the lightest ever, It's like Red left town and her skinny anorexic sister called "Pink" rolled in.

And the good guys at Realforce figured hey you know what, you can take the place of your sister cause we like you instead. So Pink got fixed into every stupid ass Topre board. Now you'll have those loving Pink, but that bitch is just too flimsy weak.

Although some hard core typists go ape over having this keyboard.......but me, not so much......I hate Pink.

It's tempting, but lets see if I grow into the Topre first... if not, gimmie something with blues and I'll be good to go.

Thanks for the feedback! It's a shame that the universal 55g isn't being sold in Australia; well not that I know of. That would of been the perfect board I think. Not style wise but type wise.

Does anyone know of any stores that sell the Vortex Pure other than mechanicalkeyboards? Was just about to buy until the postage of $55 popped up. Ouch.

Somewhere on geekhack there are instructions for tweaking the weight - I think it was ripster than put a 45g rubber pad under the 'a' key. It's a messy procedure though.

I have the KBT Pure (by Vortex) Aluminium bodied version. Heavy as, for it's size. The only thing bad about it are the MX Reds (don't mean to be harsh to the Red-lovers out there). Got stupid, jumped on the order line and Qtan sent it to me.

I made the major mistake of buying it for my old squeeze, but she actually loves her Dell keyboard a lot more. I won't make that mistake again.

At the same time I don't regret it, I suppose as I get older and waste away then maybe I'll start liking the Reds. But until then Blues are still the faves.

Is there somewhere other than Elitekeyboards that sells the Leopold Tenkeyless? I want a FC200RT/AB but I don't want to pay $60 for shipping.

Haha yeah it was to both

Actually been using it a lot more lately and getting used to the reds, quite like the smooth motion. Once/if my Poker turns up I'll take this home and give it a run instead of the BWU.

It's only there in graphite or white, isn't it? Black is much nicer.
