Default Good news for HTPC/SSF owners, Sapphire HD7750 low profile is coming.

Well there's not much to say for now, looks like a stock clocked low profile HD7750. Which isn't so bad as the HD7750 uses less power than the HD6670 and it a good chunk faster.

Finding only one decent review bechmark for the 7750 vs 6670, have a look. This is a good boost to any low profile pc.

Except for the fact that for HTPC use you don't need any more than onboard graphics and you don't get any more low profile than that....

Low end graphics cards have certain features disabled for bluray playback. Filters and the like. Also who says a HTPC isn't for gaming?

Not to be pedantic, but HTPC aka Home Theatre PC is not for gaming, it is for Home Theatre activities. A gaming PC connected to a TV is not a HTPC, but it can perform HT duties as well. Savvy?

Maybe yours isn't, mine has a 560Ti in it and a wireless 360 controller connected for awesome PC gaming.

You're gonna game on a 7750 at 1920 x 1080?

What's the game, Terraria?

Oh har har, some of us don't need 120fps, in fact I call it the wank moment when someone thinks that anything under 60 is FAIL.

As for gaming on low fps, I played quake at 4fps thats FOUR and finished it.

Not everyone had high end PC's back in the 90's and perhaps expecting the best every time is a bad thing. Learn to appreciate what you can get. Besides a 7750 is a darn sight faster than what a PS3 or xbox360 has...

I'm sorry if I offended, if you like gaming at 4fps than I tip my hat to you...

The simple truth is that I believe we have different opinions on the definition/use of a HTPC.

So, when is this available / prices out yet?

I was having problems finding a semi decent low profile graphics card for diablo3... my 5450 just wasnt cutting the mustard.

Whats your PSU wattage? Anyway even the current HD6670 will play D3 just fine. As for release dates for the Sapphire 7750 and AFox 7850, expect a few weeks max I would say. If I can get a AFox 7850 for a fair price its going to be a winner.
