Default So my comet fish was just a head and a spine...

I have 9 fish left, but I did have 10

So today I walked into my living room to feed the fishies and I didn't quite know if they had already eaten as one of the fish was literally a head with a fluffy spine. I felt too cynical to grab a photo of it, but it was seriously just a head and spine - no eyes or anything

Did the other fish eat this guy alive or is there any direction you can point to as to what the fark happened?

Never seen this happen in 15+ years of domestic goldfish ownership :\

Fish are curious and will pick at a dead one.
Nothing out of the ordinary.

So I'm assuming the other fish are also goldfish?
That's quite weird considering 1 day for the fish to go from whole to "head and spine"

Man that sounds freakishly awesome

You should set up a video camera so you can watch what happens in slomo!

9 goldfish could devour a human in 24 hours with the way they eat
